Bathroom Vanities & Washtables

Choosing a Bathroom Vanity or Washtable

Start with the available wall width, but also allow clearance for doors, drawers, plumbing and comfortable movement around the bathroom.

Compact wall-hung vanities

A 550mm or 600mm wall-hung vanity provides useful enclosed storage while keeping the floor visible. This can make a smaller bathroom or ensuite feel less crowded and simplifies cleaning beneath the cabinet.

Open washtables

An open washtable creates a lighter furniture-style appearance and allows you to choose one or two compatible vessel basins. Check the number and position of basins, tapware and wastes before any holes are drilled.

Check what is included

Inclusions vary by product. The Laufen vanity sets include the ceramic basin and cabinet. The Lineabeta washtable does not include the vessel basins, tapware, wastes or traps shown in styled photographs.

Plan wall fixings and plumbing

Wall-hung furniture requires suitable structural support. Confirm the fixing points, finished height, water supplies, waste position and service access with your installer before wall lining or tiling is completed.
